A highly sought-after thought leader in the areas of SALT and the Affordable Care Act, he is a regular spaerk and writer for a number organizations and publications, including The Ohio Society of CPAs. Joe serves as an adjunct professor at the Columbus College of Art and Design, teaching business concepts, tax and copyright law. A recipient of the John J. Kathy has been helping companies with their state and local tax issues for more than 15 years. As a professional, hard-working, detail-oriented sales use tax guru, Kathy serves clients from the firm's Cleveland office. She specializes in all areas of corporate sales and use tax compliance, consulting and implementation of tax technology solutions. Kathy has extensive experience with sales and use tax compliance, nexus reviews, reverse audit and use tax process improvement analysis, state tax audit defense, exemption certificate management and tax calculation software implementation. While she has worked with clients in many diverse industries, she focuses primarily on large multi-state/multi-entity manufacturing corporations. She is recognized as a Vertex Certified Professional (O & Q Series) and is currently pursuing a similar certification with Avalara. Kathy earned her Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary's College. Sarah works to deliver expert state and local tax expertise as a client service specialist. Always available to assist on SALT-related projects, she provides the hands-on prowess the team depends on to provide top-notch service on each and ever client engagement. Sarah focuses on nexus studies, risk assessments, state registrations, tax notice resolution, voluntary disclosure agreements and taxability determinations. She also handles tax and legal research and various other client projects such as accounts payable, local taxes, QuickBooks® and accounts receivable. Sarah earned an associate of arts and an associate of applied science in paralegal studies from Columbus State Community College. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in legal studies from the University of Cincinnati.
