Renee West Earns Predictive Index Practitioner Certification

New Philadelphia, Ohio – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, announces that Human Resources Manager Renee West, SHRM-SCP, earned her Predictive Index certification. West is responsible for overseeing the HR functions across the firm, which consists of 300 employees.

“I attended the Predictive Index conference to gain a deeper understanding of the science and best practices associated with providing behavioral feedback while improving my ability to communicate with clients regarding their workforce and candidates,” explained West. “I got a lot of value from the conference and, as a result, I am qualified to provide additional insight into a candidate’s or employee’s leadership, communication, patience and decision-making skills.”

Over the last year, Rea & Associates’ consulting capabilities has expanded to include human resources services. In the firm’s experience, according to West, the Predictive Index has proven to be a powerful tool for hiring, development and succession planning needs within the firm, one in which West has been vocal about on the company’s blog and in recent publications. Today, company leaders have turned to West for her insight and technical assistance. West’s Predictive Index certification not only strengthens her credibility internally, it speaks to her commitment to professionalism and ongoing development, which benefits those she serves outside of the firm.

“Renee actively seeks out opportunities to grow as a professional and embrace the firm’s strategy for growth. Stepping up and becoming the firm’s Predictive Index expert is just another example of that,” said Annie Yoder, CPA/CFF, CFE, Rea’s director of development. “Her commitment to professional development doesn’t just advance her personal career goals, it allows Rea to strengthen our own internal processes while empowering us to provide additional assistance through HR consulting capabilities.”

With more than 20 years of experience in the HR industry, West actively collaborates with senior leadership and office managers to drive execution of the firm’s human resources strategies and initiatives in an effort to achieve greater employee engagement and productivity. A member of the Rea team since 2015, West earned her business management degree from Kent State University. She resides in Dover.
