Rea & Associates is excited to announce that Investment Partners, LTD has merged with Rea & Associates, effective January 1, 2023. Rea & Associates offers services far beyond that of a traditional accounting firm, including information services, managed IT, HR consulting, retirement plan consulting, as well as valuation and transaction advisory services. Adding Investment Partners means that the firm now offers wealth management services to clients. You may have some questions about this merger. To answer these questions, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions and answers. How will this merger affect me?

Rea and Investment Partners have had a strategic relationship for decades. This merger will elevate the experience and provide a more well-rounded suite of services available to clients of both firms. That said, you will not notice much change in your day-to-day experience with either firm.

Will I still have the same Advisor?

Absolutely! The financial advisors and service team with whom you’ve been accustomed to working with over the years will stay the same. Relationships are critical in this business and we are committed to maintaining and reinforcing the trust you’ve placed in our firm and individual team members.

Will my rates go up?

Nope! This merger is about uniting our two firms for the purpose of providing our clients with access to a more robust service line and a highly regarded team of industry experts – not raising rates. You will see absolutely no negative changes in the service you currently receive, your fees or your service team.

Will members of the Investment Partners team be moving?

Currently, all five Investment Partners offices are located in Rea-owned buildings. Most will not be moving. However, both the Rea and Investment Partners offices in the Columbus area are running out of space and have been planning to move to a new location in Dublin later this year, once construction is finished. More details on that move will follow.

How will the merger affect the name of the firm?

Both Rea and Investment Partners have established a strong brand presence throughout their communities and will retain their names at this time.

How many people are losing their jobs?

Nobody will lose their job as a result of this merger! You will see the same friendly faces you’ve grown accustomed to seeing.

Why did the two firms merge?

With the addition of Investment Partners, Rea & Associates reaffirms its dedication to providing services that help grow and protect its clients’ financial position, including their personal wealth. Rea’s current accounting and consulting services go hand-in-hand with wealth management, and through the merger, Rea will be able to serve clients with a more coordinated team approach, alongside creating additional client service offerings. Do I need to do anything?
