Firm’s Government Team Helps State Agency Amid Difficult Staff Loss
New Philadelphia, OH – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, honors employees for their contributions to community, client service, the public accounting profession and to the firm as a whole. This year, for their dedication to client service while working with a state agency, Cody Dial and Jennifer Kasserman, CPA were nominated and selected by the Spotlight Award Committee to receive the firm’s fourth annual Richard Rea Award for Service to the Client.
Chad Welty, CPA, a principal on the firm’s government team, explained that due to the unexpected death of one of the client’s key staff members, the last several months have been particularly stressful.
“Due to the unexpected death of one of the client’s key staff members, the last several months have been particularly stressful for this client,” Welty said. “Our team was able to work with the client to ensure continued operations and support and the client expressed gratitude for our team going above and beyond. Cody and Jennifer definitely deserve this award.”

Winners of this award are nominated by their peers. In September, a committee is formed to review the nominations and select the winner. The winner is then revealed during a ceremony that takes place at the annual Rea & Associates Retreat. Past recipients of the Richard Rea Award for Client Service include Annie Yoder, CPA; Crystal Rahrig and Tiffany Crawford, JD; and Dustin Raber, CPA, CMP and Katie Snyder, CPA.
