Senior Accountant at Rea & Associates Earns Respected Credential
New Philadelphia – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, announces that Lisa Contini, a senior accountant in the firm’s New Philadelphia office, has earned the Advanced Single Audit Certification. The certificate was developed by the AICPA’s Governmental Audit Quality Center and displays your ability to plan, direct, and report on single audits following the Uniform Guidance. By obtaining this certification, Contini furthered her knowledge in the single audit area which will give clients more confidence in Rea to provide quality solutions for their issues.
“Lisa specifically has been working with our most challenging clients when it comes to single audit and compliance with the Uniform Guidance and is a firm wide resource in this area,” said Zac Morris, CPA, Director of Government Services at Rea. “We are thrilled that she obtained this certificate as she continues to further her knowledge in this area – benefitting both the firm and our clients.”
At Rea, Lisa is responsible for government audits, as well as for most of the A-133 audits that the firm conducts. Other areas of expertise for Lisa are court audits, utility fraud, and community eligibility option for nutrition. A resident of New Philadelphia, Contini has over 15 years of accounting experience and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Walsh University.
