ARCIS Technology Group Joins Rea & Associates

Rea & Associates is excited to announce that ARCIS Technology Group, Inc. has signed a contract to merge with Rea & Associates effective November 1, 2022.

Rea & Associates offers services far beyond that of a traditional accounting firm, including information services, cybersecurity, HR consulting, retirement plan consulting, as well as valuation and transaction advisory services.

The Information Services practice at Rea, including managed security information technology and governance, risk, and compliance services, are key offerings to develop and meet clients’ evolving needs and remain a competitive firm. With a 20-year history of providing IT support to businesses, ARCIS is a trusted partner for managed IT services and a leader in keeping businesses’ data secure with around-the-clock support for many of its clients. The addition of ARCIS’s services will elevate Rea’s Information Services practices to the next level and offer clients more comprehensive information technology solutions. Additionally, the merger allows Rea to leverage ARCIS’s expertise and supports the firm’s plans to expand beyond Ohio.

“With the addition of ARCIS, Rea & Associates reaffirms its dedication to providing services that help grow and protect our clients’ businesses,” said Annie Yoder, CPA, CFE, CFF president, advisory and consulting practices. “This merger allows us to offer new, innovative services to our clients and I’m excited to welcome the talented ARCIS professionals to our team.”

ARCIS and Rea are dedicated to protecting current and potential clients from cyber breaches that could harm their business, employees, and customers. As one team, they will be able to provide more robust support and services to clients. As cybersecurity professionals, they will be stronger together.

Cultural fit was a driving force behind this decision. Rea & Associates and ARCIS both have a people-first culture, because happy and engaged employees mean better customer service. Both firms value top talent, hard work, exceptional client service, collaboration, innovation and growth.

“Coming together is a natural fit for both of our firms, since we value the same core beliefs,” said Jeff Rapp, owner and president of ARCIS. “Not only will Rea clients benefit from our suite of services, but ARCIS clients will now have access to some of the greatest accounting and consulting professionals in the country.” Jeff will join Rea as a principal when the merger takes effect Nov. 1.

ARCIS and Rea & Associates will be one firm under the Rea & Associates name, continuing to operate out of ARCIS’s current locations in Massillon, Ohio, and Raleigh, North Carolina.
