Rea & Associate’s HR Generalist Will Serve As Workforce Readiness Director of Human Resource Management’s State Council Board
March 7, 2016 | New Philadelphia, OH – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, announces that Renee West, SHRM-CP, PHR, human resources generalist with the firm, has been elected to serve as the new workforce readiness director for the Ohio Society for Human Resource Management’s State Council Board. In this role, West will be responsible for recommending, developing, implementing and evaluating statewide workforce readiness initiatives and directing chapter level workforce readiness advocates.

As the human resources generalist with Rea, West involved with the daily operations of the Human Resources department, specifically with regard to recruiting, employee relations and training and development. Additionally, she helps to ensure that departmental goals are aligned with the firm’s strategic initiatives.
West has more than 20 years of experience in the HR industry serving professional services, manufacturing, not-for-profit and temporary staffing businesses and organizations. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Kent State University and went on to secure her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) & Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications. In addition to her new role with the Ohio Society for Human Resource Management, West also serves as the president of the Tuscora Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management and has held numerous board positions within the chapter since 2007. She is also a member of the Tuscarawas Central Catholic Elementary School Board of Directors and is an active member of the TCC Saints Club. West currently resides in Dover.
