Nov. 10, 2021 | New Philadelphia, Ohio – The Rea Foundation is proud to celebrate the success of its first-ever Rea Foundation Gala event, hosted on October 1, where the foundation raised over $90,000 that will benefit various causes across Ohio. Celebrating the legacy of Richard Rea, founder of Rea & Associates, The Rea Foundation is Rea & Associates’ nonprofit corporation for charitable giving.
This event was hosted by The Rea Foundation and made possible by the generous donations of members of the Rea & Associates staff across Ohio. The gala was attended by over 125 members of the Rea team.
“We’re thrilled to have had such tremendous support from across the firm for this charitable event,” said Rick Lash, fundraising chair for the Rea Foundation. “The support we see for The Rea Foundation grows with every passing year, and we hope to make next year’s gala even larger.”
The Rea Foundation’s charitable fundraising is used to help serve and strengthen communities across Ohio. In 2020 alone, the Foundation provided more than $18,000 in scholarships to Ohio students, distributed more than $78,000 in financial gifts, and assisted over 53 nonprofit organizations.
