March 2, 2017 | Marietta, Ohio – Rea & Associates, a regional CPA and business consulting firm, announces the promotion of Matt Pottmeyer, CPA, CGMA, to equity principal at the firm’s Marietta office.

We look forward to the great work he will do in this new role.”
Since joining the firm in 2003, Pottmeyer has established himself as a leader in the tax segment and is regularly called on to consult on projects for clients state-wide. Areas of expertise include tax planning, taxpayer representation, contractor accounting and income tax preparation and review. He is earned his bachelor’s degree in public accounting from Marietta College, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Furthering his professional development, Pottmeyer is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs, the Ohio Board of Accountancy and is a 2015 graduate of Rea’s NextGen Leadership Program. Outside of the office, he serves as the finance officer for the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 750, a member of the Lowell Moose Lodge and a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Chapter 4617. Pottmeyer resides in Lowell with his family.
