Rea & Associates Names New Host Of ‘unsuitable’ Podcast

Doug Houser To Take The Mic As Host Of Award-Winning Accounting And Business Consulting Podcast

Dublin, Ohio – Rea & Associates, a Top 100 regional accounting and business consulting firm, announces that Dave Cain will step away from the mic as the host of unsuitable on Rea Radio and enter retirement. Taking his place as the host of the firm’s award-winning accounting and business consulting podcast is Doug Houser, principal and director of Rea’s construction & real estate services practice.

Produced by Rea & Associates, the weekly podcast series zeroes in on various challenges facing the small- to mid-sized business community in Ohio. Each episode features discussion and insight from industry specialists, business professionals and organizational leaders designed to help listeners build better businesses and invest in their own professional growth journeys.

Since premiering in October 2015, unsuitable has proven to be popular among business professionals in Ohio and beyond – earning awards and recognition in the areas of accounting marketing and content marketing. Today, the firm has released more than 190 episodes spanning topics from tax reform guidance to social media tactics and everything in between.

“When I took over as host three years ago, I could have never imagined how much fun it would be to produce – and successful,” said Cain. “Every guest that came into the studio brought unique personalities and valuable perspectives. Making new connections and engaging people in meaningful ways was always my favorite part about being the unsuitable host and that’s something I’ll deeply miss.”

Cain will pass the torch to Houser with the airing of episode 194, which will be released Monday, July 22. One week later, on Monday, July 29, Houser will hit the ground running when he is joined by Joe Urquhart, CPCU, CRIS, vice president of Overmyer Hall Associates, to discuss business risks.

“There’s no better person to fill my shoes,” said Cain. With his approachable personality and knowledge in numerous industries, Doug will do a great job as the new podcast host.
