Rea & Associates Beefs Up Valuation and Transaction Advisory Services Team
Dublin, Ohio – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, announces that Mike Schultz, CPA, and Chris Brinich are the newest professionals on the firm’s rapidly growing valuation and transaction advisory services team. The two new employees bring a wealth of business valuation and financial analysis experience to the firm and, in their new roles, will work to expedite the valuation and transaction advisory process while arming clients with key financial data. Schultz and Brinich will work out of the firm’s Dublin, Ohio, location, while serving clients across the state and throughout the nation.
With a background of more than five years in the accounting profession, and as the team’s newest manager, Schultz specializes in quality of earnings engagements and provides buy-side and sell-side due diligence for clients engaged in mergers and acquisitions. Schultz earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and management information systems from Ohio University.
“Mike brings an important leadership component and skillset to our growing team that enables us to offer additional transaction advisory services to our existing practice, said Mary Beth Koester, CVA, CEPA, a principal with Rea and the director of the firm’s valuation and transaction advisory services team. “As the number of clients we service continues to grow, and their needs continue to expand and evolve, the unique skills and expertise Mike brings to the table will be critical to our ability to deliver the high quality of service our clients have come to expect.”
Brinich, a senior associate on the team, is instrumental in the preparation of business valuations for estate, gift, and succession planning purposes. After earning his bachelor’s degree in finance economics from Ohio Wesleyan University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, he set out to begin his career in the areas of finance and accounting. As a new Rea team member, Brinich is committed to ongoing education and client service. He is a CFA Level III candidate and will sit for the final part of the exam this June.
“Chris is quick, thorough and enthusiastic about the work we do and the clients we serve here at Rea. His attention to detail and inquisitive disposition lends itself to providing a holistic approach when working with our clients. Together, with Mike and Chris now on the team, we are prepared to meet the growing demand in this area.” said Koester.
“We provide clients with unique financial insights and a plan for maximizing business growth and value, while securing the long-term financial success they have worked so tirelessly to achieve,” explained Koester. “There is not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution when it comes to maximizing business value and transition planning. The knowledge and insight our professionals bring to the table assists owners in understanding the key value drivers of their business, as well as considering their exit options and ultimately cashing in on their investment. It’s essential that these options align with the personal and financial goals of the business owner, and our team understands this is critical for success.”
