Inaugural Rea Way Award Given To Rod Littleton
November 6, 2015 | New Philadelphia, OH – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, honors employees for their contributions to community, client service, the public accounting profession and to the firm as a whole. This year, for his dedication to the ideals on which the firm was founded, Rod Littleton was nominated by his peers and selected by the Spotlight Award Committee to receive the inaugural Rea Way Award.
Littleton, the firm’s maintenance professional, is viewed as an unsung hero in the firm. He’s responsible for the building maintenance of Rea’s 11 offices, and his tasks range from replacing light bulbs to coordinating and overseeing large-scale office moves. As a department of one, this is no small task. Littleton was nominated not only for his knowledge, but most importantly, for his positive attitude, friendly demeanor and commitment to the firm and its values.
“I’ve moved the office three times in nine years and he’s there every step of the way,” said Ryan Dumermuth, CPA, CFP, principal of the firm’s Mentor office. “He’s firm-first, reliable and versatile. There’s nothing he doesn’t know anything about.”

Winners of this award are nominated by their peers. In September, a committee is formed to review the nominations and select the winner. The winner is then revealed during a ceremony that takes place at the annual Rea & Associates Retreat.
