State And Local Tax Senior Manager Earns Valuable CredentialCleveland, Ohio – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, announces that Kathy LaMonica, a senior manager on the firm’s state and local tax team, has earned the Vertex® Certified Professional designation after completing the program’s series of web-based training modules and exams.

As a senior manager on the firm’s SALT team, LaMonica is responsible for assisting clients in all areas of state and local tax. Her area of specialty, however, is in her ability to provide insight into various technology solutions to complicated multi-state corporate sales/use tax compliance issues.
LaMonica joined Rea in 2018, after having accumulated more than 15 years of accounting industry experience. LaMonica earned her bachelor’s degree in history from St. Mary’s College located in Notre Dame, Indiana. She resides in Chagrin Falls.
