Manufacturing CPAs Names Rea & Associates 2016 Member Firm of the Year
June 29, 2016 | New Philadelphia, Ohio – Rea & Associates, Inc., a regional accounting and business consulting firm, was recently named the 2016 Member Firm of the Year by Manufacturing CPAs, a subsidiary of The Rainmaker Alliances, a service line of The Rainmaker Companies. The award, which was presented to the Ohio-based firm at the 2016 SuperConference in Miami, Fla., was given to Rea in recognition of its commitment to achieving continued growth of its manufacturing segment.
“This award symbolizes our commitment to the manufacturing leaders we work hard to serve every day,” said Kyle Stemple, CPA, CGMA, MBA, principal and director of manufacturing services at Rea & Associates. “I am proud of the fact that Rea is not only making an impact locally, this award shows that we are making an impact among firms throughout the country.”
Stemple was also elected to serve as president of the Manufacturing CPAs, a nationwide affiliation of independently owned accounting firms committed to delivering exceptional financial and consulting services to manufacturers.
“I’ve had the chance to participate on the executive board and the conference planning committee for a number of years and I am honored to have the opportunity to lead in this capacity and help map out the future of Manufacturing CPAs as president,” said Stemple. “This is such a valuable resource for our members, most of whom have extensive experience helping manufacturing clients tighten operations, collaborate efficiently and meet competitive market conditions. Together, Manufacturing CPA members work with thousands of manufacturing entities nationwide and have helped them achieve sustained growth in their specific market niches.”
Stemple, who has also earned his Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, joined Rea & Associates in 2002 where he specializes in consulting, tax and audit services. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kent State University and his master’s degree in business administration, with a specialization in finance, from Ashland University. In addition to serving as president of the Manufacturing CPAs, he is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs, and the Manufacturing Services Association. He currently resides in Dover with his family.
