Braun Spotted Million-Dollar Error, Fought To Resolve Issue In Favor Of The Client
November 15, 2017 | New Philadelphia, OH – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, honors employees for their contributions to community, client service, the public accounting profession and to the firm as a whole. This year, for her dedication to client service, Laurie Braun, was nominated and selected by the Spotlight Award Committee to receive the firm’s fifth annual Richard Rea Award for Service to the Client.
“Laurie helped when a particular client experienced a stressful time when it found out their past advisor failed them on several key financial transactions and cost them a substantial amount of money,” said Alan Hill, CPA, director of dental services. “She was able to pinpoint the error and go above and beyond for this client to ensure continued operations and support. She definitely gave her clients everything she had.”
Richard Rea, founder of Rea & Associates, believed in the value of exceptional client service and he believed in going the extra mile to build relationships and delight his customers. As one of the firm’s central principles, the staff at Rea is encouraged to embrace the mindset that excellent client service requires so much more than going through the motions and producing quality work. The recipients of the Richard Rea Award for Client Service are those employees who demonstrate the same dedication to client service as the firm’s founder – those who take the time to build genuine relationships with our clients. Winners of this award are nominated by their peers. In September, a committee is formed to review the nominations and select the winner. The winner is then revealed during a ceremony that takes place at the annual Rea & Associates Retreat.
