Why The Certified Valuation Analyst Credential Matters

The Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation is the only valuation credential accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). The certification denotes a mastery of a wide range of business valuation concepts. The CVA is granted only to professionals who demonstrate integrity, expertise, mastery, and substantial experience in the areas of business valuation, financial consulting, and accounting.

“Duncan and Jack continue to uphold our commitment, as a firm and as a team, to continually strive for excellence in our work, in order to better serve our clients. This accreditation only further displays the strong dedication Duncan and Jack exhibit to their profession and their clients,” said Paul Weisinger, CPA/ABV/ CVA/ CEPA, principal, director of valuation & transaction advisory services at Rea & Associates.

“We’re deeply optimistic and excited, as a team, to have such dedicated and knowledgeable professionals working together to provide an even larger scope of services to our clients,” Weisinger continued.

In order to achieve this certification, candidates must successfully complete an intensive training and testing process. Additionally, candidates must be recertified every three years in order to maintain this credential while showing continued commitment to professional excellence. This accreditation is a mark of professional excellence and reflects the ongoing value Rea & Associates places on continued training and education.
