Dublin, Ohio – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, announces that Trista Acker, CPA, CFP, a principal in the firm’s Dublin office, has earned National Social Security Advisors (NSSA) certification from the National Social Security Association. The NSSA certificate promotes advanced Social Security education, which arms Acker with the knowledge to counsel clients on the best way to claim their Social Security benefits to optimize their lifetime Social Security income.

At Rea, Acker helps identify solutions for clients plagued by complex tax questions and other difficult financial decisions. She also assists businesses with their accounting challenges and ensures timely completion of individual and business tax returns. Acker specializes in personal income tax, S-corporations, 401(k) plans, QuickBooks and general bookkeeping and accounting.

Acker has accumulated more than 15 years of experience in the accounting industry. She earned her associate’s degree in accounting from Columbus State Community College and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in financial management from Franklin University. Furthering her professional development, Acker is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs, and the Financial Planning Association. She is also a 2016 Rea NextGen Leadership Program graduate. Acker lives in Marysville with her family.
