Melissa attended Lakeland Community College where she studied accounting and business.

She is currently working towards her MBA at Kent State University - Ashtabula Campus

Prior to joining Rea, Melissa worked as a bookkeeper for a new construction plumbing company, then she was a bookkeeper/office manager at the Ashtabula County Visitors Bureau and was the office manager at Bissell Maple Farm.

She has over 20 years of experience in accounting

What does “A Brighter Way” mean to you? To me, "A Brighter Way" means that we provide the best path for our clients so they can relax knowing things are taken care of.

What line of The Rea Way describes you the best? Never stop learning

What’s your favorite aspect of your job? Working on different client files, it keeps the days interesting and there is something new to learn with each one.

What do you consider is your “brightest” quality? I always aim to stay positive, I think one positive person can change the entire outlook of a group.
