  • Lauren’s day-to-day activities include a variety of task, such as assisting clients with state registrations, either to conduct business in the state or to register them to collect sales tax, reviewing client invoices to determine if transactions are taxable or exempt, calculating a client’s sales tax liability for Voluntary Disclosure Agreements, completing a client’s sales tax returns and submitting payment, and researching any additional questions regarding a client’s taxability liability.

Lauren earned her bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University.

She earned her paralegal certificate from Columbus State Community College.

Before joining Rea, she worked at Alliance Data, a provider of loyalty and marketing services, as a senior quality assurance specialist within the complaints management department.

Why do you choose to work at Rea? I choose to work at Rea to enhance my knowledge of State and Local Tax statutes and apply those statutes to actual clients' concerns.

What’s your favorite aspect of your job? Working with a team that supports you and wants to see you succeed.

What did 10-year-old you want to be when you grew up? A 10-year-old me wanted to be a Pediatrician.

What was your first job? A customer service representative at Media Play.

What is one trait you possess that you inherited from your mother or father? I inherited standing up for what I believe is right from my father.
