She earned her bachelor's degree in education and mathematics from The University of Akron.

Prior to joining Rea, Karen worked as a high school math teacher in the Peace Corps, an elementary school teacher, and held various accounting specialist roles.

What is one trait you possess that you inherited from your mother or father? High cholesterol. Ha! Seriously, caring about other people like my mom does.

What is your most prized possession? Of course my children and siblings, but if we're talking "stuff", it's my home. It's a peaceful, happy place for me, friends, and family.
