Inside The Mind Of…

  • What does “A Brighter Way” mean to you? “A Brighter Way” means that through experience comes knowledge.
  • What do you consider is your “brightest” quality? I would consider my “brightest” quality to be objective. When I’m looking at a situation I am able to step back and look at it from the outside. Adding real value to a client’s organization. Having the right information is very valuable and that is where Rea provides value in what we do for our clients.
  • What line of The Rea Way describes you the best? The best line to describe me would be “Take your work personally. Quality counts.” I always put effort into what I do, regardless of what it is. I usually don’t stop on a project until it is completely done, regardless of how long the task takes. If I have a set deadline, then I put more time along with my effort to complete the task.

Just For Fun:

  • What did 10-year-old you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a chef. This thought stayed with me on and off until high school, where I briefly entertained the idea of going to the vocational school in the area to study culinary arts. I didn’t decide on accounting until after applying to colleges my senior year.
  • What profession would you choose if you didn’t go into accounting? Going off of what I was going to be doing the latter half of my high school career, I probably would have gone into culinary arts. The only issue with this is I would either stay with a somewhat decent restaurant for the rest of my life, or spend too much money to open my own restaurant and become a business owner.
  • What was your first job? My first job was refereeing soccer. I mostly refereed kids under 14. The hardest part about this age group is the parents watching. They sometimes would not fully understand the rules and would think they knew better than the officials. This made for a very interesting time during the game.
