Individual taxation

Business taxation

Accounting software packages – QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks, Dynamics GP

Corporate banking

How we know she knows what she's doing:

Candice earned her degree in accounting from Cleveland State University

She has over 15 years of experience in accounting

Prior to joining Rea, Candice was an assistant accounting supervisor at Area Temps in their corporate office and an accountant at Kuper Hilton and Kaminski

How she's helped clients meet their business needs:

She spent time to correct a client’s year end QuickBooks Online file to properly reflect income and expenses, restored the operating account checkbook after the client erroneously deleted it. She also edited improperly set up products and services to prevent many of the same issues from recurring in future years.

A client purchased an existing business and had an issue with the Ohio Department of Taxation not properly recognizing the change of ownership, thus preventing an important business license being transitioned. Candice worked with the client, the Department of Taxation, and the outside payroll service providers to ensure the transition was completed in order to transfer the licensure.

When she's not in the office, you can find her:

Spending time outdoors with her family and friends

Studying for the CPA exam

Running with her White German Shepherd, Cody

Lifting weights at the gym

Watching her children’s soccer and softball games

Working in her yard and around her home
