One of only 13 professionals in Ohio to achieve this milestone

Cambridge, Ohio - Les Wymer, accounting supervisor at Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, has earned certification with the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals, Inc. as a certified construction industry professional.

ICCIFP is a not-for-profit corporation established to promote the highest standards of construction financial management through the credentialing of construction financial professionals. The exam process tests the candidate's knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, income recognition methods, budgeting and planning, risk management, taxes, human resources, legal, information technology and joint ventures as they apply to the construction and contracting industry.Wymer joins just 13 CCIFPs in Ohio and becomes the third member of the Rea staff to earn the designation. Accredited designees are also required to obtain 72 hours of continuing education every three years to maintain their accreditation.

Wymer joined Rea in 2000. He specializes in accounting and tax services in the construction industry and serves small to medium size business clients. A native of Zanesville, he earned a bachelor of arts degree in accounting, business and economics from Muskingum College. Wymer currently resides in New Concord with his wife, Jamie, and son, Matthew.
