4 January, 2008

Dublin, Ohio – Wendy Roy has been given the Paul Harris Fellow Award by the Rotary Club of Hilliard. The award is given to Rotary members who earn and contribute at least $1,000 toward the Rotary Club International Foundation.

“We’re extremely proud of Wendy and her accomplishment,” said John Vogelpohl, CPA, CCIFP, shareholder and manager in Rea’s Dublin office. “Her dedication to the community is to be commended, and this award is well-deserved.”

Ms. Roy’s efforts as chairperson of a fundraiser, working at the front desk for weekly meetings, as well as her perfect attendance, earned her monetary contributions by her club totaling $1,000. The award, named for Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary International, is one of the highest designations in Rotary.

At Rea, Ms. Roy is a tax coordinator and administrator. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in human ecology, specializing in interior design from The Ohio State University and is a graduate of Bellefontaine Senior High School in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was also named the Rotarian of the Year for 2005.

She currently resides in Columbus.
