MENTOR, Ohio – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, recently hired Jackie Beckman as a client service specialist and Evan Mullaney as a staff accountant. Additionally, Jeremy Senften, CPA, joined the Mentor team. Senften previously worked as a senior accountant in Rea’s Medina office.
“We’re extremely pleased to be able to attract such talented individuals to our team,” said Ryan Dumermuth, CPA, CFP, director and office manager of Rea’s Mentor office. “We have experienced a lot of growth in Lake County and plan to continue building our professional resources.”
The firm recently merged with Lynch, Anselmo, Ott, Bryan + Co. and was formerly located in Willoughby Hills. Rea moved to Mentor in January in order to accommodate its expansion.
Beckman was formerly employed as a bookkeeper and secretary at The Creative Group, Inc. She worked there more than two years.
She graduated magna cum laude from David N. Myers College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She lives in Willowick with her husband, Rick, and their two children, Benjamin and Michael. She enjoys volleyball, golf, bowling, spending time with her family, going to her kids’ sporting events and watching the Cleveland professional sports teams.
Mullaney formerly spent eight years working as a bagroom manager for Avon Oaks Country Club. He also interned at a tax office during the 2006 tax season as a tax preparation assistant.
He is a graduate of North Olmsted High School and Miami University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He lives in Avon Lake, Ohio, where he enjoys golfing, reading and traveling.
Senften specializes in tax, pension audits and consulting. He joined the Rea team in 1999 and is a graduate of the University of Akron. A native of Massillon, Ohio, Senften lives in Concord with his wife, Elizabeth, and their son, Luke. He likes golfing, fishing, hunting and basketball.
