NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio – CPA Magazine has named Jeffrey H. Tucker, CPA, of Rea & Associates, Inc., as one of the industry’s most influential accountants in 2006. Tucker was also named on the magazine’s 2005 list.
Tucker, an associate at Rea’s New Philadelphia office since 1977, is a shareholder and office manager. As the head of the firm’s auditing division, he is also responsible for the firm’s quality control and peer review systems.
“Jeff’s dedication to the accounting profession is evident in his involvement and commitment to helping others succeed,” said Tim Michel, president of Rea & Associates. “We’re proud of his many achievements and this honor from CPA Magazine.”
A graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, Tucker is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and served as board chairman for the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also held leadership positions with both Junior Achievement and the United Way of Tuscarawas County.
CPA Magazine chose Tucker and the other selected CPAs for their “intent on continuing to rebuild the public’s trust…, extraordinary passion and unselfish devotion of their time to serve others.”
