Rea's McEwan Earns Investment Fiduciary Analyst Designation

Accounting Firm's Professional Staff Expands Expertise

Paul McEwan, CPA, MT, AIF, has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA) designation.

The designation was presented by Fiduciary 360, an organization offering training, tools and resources to promote a culture of fiduciary responsibility and improve decision-making processes of fiduciaries. The AIFA designation signifies the ability to perform fiduciary assessments measuring how well investment fiduciaries are fulfilling their duties to defined standards of care.

McEwan joined Rea in 1989 and serves as director of Rea's pension services practice. He obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting from the Ohio State University and earned a master's degree in taxation from the University of Akron. He is active in several community organizations including New Philadelphia Lions, New Philadelphia Youth Soccer Association, New Philadelphia City Schools, United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Ohio. A native of Worthington, he resides in New Philadelphia with his wife, Elizabeth, and children Will, Robert, Richard and Kate.
