COLUMBUS, Ohio – Lucas W. Braun has successfully completed and passed all four parts of the exam to become a Certified Public Accountant. Braun is part of Rea Strategic Solutions, a division of Rea & Associates, Inc., and works in the downtown Columbus office.
The CPA examination is administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants to ensure only qualified individuals become CPAs.

Braun earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ohio Northern University, where he minored in field biology and graduated with high distinction. He was a member of the ONU Honors Program and a number of honors societies and was named Outstanding Accounting Senior by Financial Executives International in 2004. He also won the Wall Street Journal Award in 2004.
Braun helped co-author, “Behind Closed Doors at WorldCom: 2001,” which was published in Issues in Accounting Education, the premier academic journal for accounting educators in America.
Braun has served his local United Way as part of the budget and allocations committee since 2005. A native of Kenton, Ohio, Braun currently lives in Marysville, Ohio, with his wife, Lyndsey, where he enjoys golf, movies, and writing music with his friends and family.
