Rea & Associates Welcomes Deskins to Team

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Rea & Associates, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, recently hired Heather Deskins, CPA, CVA, as a manager. She is part of Rea Strategic Solutions, a division of Rea & Associates, Inc., and works in the downtown Columbus office.

“We’re pleased to welcome Heather to our team,” said Tim McDaniel, CPA, ASA, CBA, CBI, shareholder and manager of the Columbus office. “She is well-suited for the position, and we are excited to have her.“

Deskins is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University. While there, she served on the economics student board. At Rea, she prepares business valuations and performs litigation support services for divorce-related cases.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. She is also involved in church functions, including providing food to the needy and preparing free meals during the holidays. She is also involved in the Ohio Society of CPAs’ Accounting for Kids Day.

Deskins is a native of Columbus and currently lives in Cardington, Ohio, with her husband, Byron, and their daughters, Jordan and Bryonna. She enjoys reading, bicycling, swimming, going shopping and playing basketball and softball in her spare time. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
