Rea & Associates Announces New Vice Presidents

Millersburg, Ohio – Rea & Associates, Inc., a regional accounting and business consulting firm, has announced that Mike Taylor, CPA, a shareholder in the Millersburg office, was appointed to an executive vice president of operations position in the firm. Lee Beall, CPA, a shareholder in the firm’s Dublin office, will also serve in a vice presidential role with Taylor.

The two VP positions are part of the firm’s new corporate structure, which also includes a board of directors.

“Our goal is to do an even better job of communicating with our clients and bringing value-added services to them,” said Taylor, an associate since 1970. “In addition, we are working hard to develop specialty teams that will have expertise in areas where we currently have a significant presence.”

With 37 years of experience in public accounting, Taylor understands what it takes to be successful in his new role. One of his main goals as vice president is to develop the existing skills of the team members.

“We expect this new structure to create better-focused partners and team members,” said Tim Michel, CPA, the firm’s CEO. “It will result in more accountability, which is very important to any organization. We look forward to each team member gaining greater knowledge and skills in the areas they focus in.”

Taylor and his wife, Cindy, live in Millersburg, Ohio and have two adult children. He enjoys outdoor work, hunting, bicycling, motorcycling and reading in his spare time.
