New Philadelphia, Ohio – Rea & Associates, Inc., a regional accounting and business consulting firm, recently changed the title of its key leaders from shareholder to principal.
We felt we needed to make this title change to clarify the role of leaders within our firm, said Lee Beall, CPA, Rea's CEO. The title of shareholder was confusing to our clients and the outside market, and we feel principal denotes ownership, which more accurately reflects the role of principals in our firm.
