Maribeth joined the Rea team in 1988. She is a lifelong resident of Cambridge, Ohio.

Before Rea

Maribeth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Mount Union. Before joining Rea, she was with a local CPA firm for eight years.

At Rea

Maribeth specializes in tax compliance for not-for-profit organizations. She has also made various presentations on accounting and tax issue to local organizations. In addition, she taught many classes at Zane State College.

Besides Rea

Maribeth is active in her profession. She serves on the Ohio Society for CPAs' Not-for-Profit Conference Committee.

She is also very active in her community. Her involvement includes:

  • Guernsey County Foundation (president)
  • Southeastern Regional Medical Center (trustee)
  • Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (past trustee)
  • United Way (past president, treasurer and trustee)
  • Rotary Club of Cambridge (past president)
  • Cambridge Alumni and Friends Education Fund (trustee)

Maribeth was awarded the Jeffersonian Person of the Year Award in 2001. In 2008, the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce honored her with the Distinguished Public Service award.
