New Philadelphia, Ohio – Jeff Tucker, CPA, has retired from Rea & Associates, Inc. effective March 31, 2010.
Tucker joined Rea in 1977. He served as the firm's long-time audit practice leader and specialized in a variety of accounting and auditing areas. Tucker spearheaded the firm's Quality Control Document, monitoring and ensuring that the firm exceeded industry standards in quality control. He also led Rea's continuing professional education efforts for many years, documenting educational credits earned by staff members to ensure compliance with industry requirements. He is widely known for his teaching skills and provided instruction to many of the auditors within the firm.

Throughout his career, Tucker has been an active member of the American Society of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs. He was honored as one of the Top 100 Influential Practitioners in 2005 and 2006 by CPA Magazine.
Tucker was awarded the Vic Marsh Community Service Award by the United Way of Tuscarawas County, where he served as a board member and past president. He is also a past president and board member of Junior Achievement of Tuscarawas County.
A lifelong resident of New Philadelphia, Tucker and his wife, Valerie, have two sons, Andrew and Patrick, and a daughter, Stephanie.
