Millersburg, Ohio – The employees of Rea & Associates, Inc., in connection with The Rea Foundation continue to honor the life and memory of Marcia L. Stutzman, CPA, through a memorial scholarship directed and managed by the Holmes County Education Foundation. This year, Madison Zeigler, a senior at West Holmes High School, was the recipient of the award.

Marcia Stutzman, a 23-year employee and principal with Rea & Associates, passed away in January of 2013 at the age of 43 from Leiomyosarcoma. In her honor, the firm established the Marcia L. Stutzman Memorial Scholarship, which is designed to assist West Holmes graduating seniors pursuing majors in accounting, finance or business.

“Marcia always made people feel important and well cared for. She provided clients with great service while staying perceptive to the feelings and needs of those around her,” said Chris Roush, CPA. “She embodied what The Rea Way stands for and gave us a legacy to remember and follow.”

Zeigler will pursue a degree in accounting and finance. Over the course of her high school career she has been active in athletics, leadership programs and community service groups.

Community members are welcome to make contributions to this scholarship fund. Donations can be made through the Holmes County Education Foundation’s donation page.
