Who has been the most influential person in your life or career?
My parents. Neither of them had a college degree, but I was taught from an early age that education means everything. They were always supportive and believed in me when I didn't believe in myself.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Never give up.
Why do you do what you do?
It's challenging. In public accounting, you never have the same day twice.

Loyal.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what would you want to have with you?
Not a "what," but a "who" – my husband. He would find a way to get us home.
What was your favorite class in college?
Introduction to criminal justice. As a business major, this elective was a nice change of pace.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher.
What is the best book you've ever read?
The Bible.
If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?
My grandmother.
