Tim joined the Rea team in 1999. Born in Wooster, Ohio, he now lives in Westerville, Ohio with his wife April and their three children; Drew, Ellie and Charlie.

What's the best advice you've ever received?Attitude is more important than talent.

Why do you do what you do? I enjoy assisting business owners with the management of their most prized asset. There is a great amount of fulfillment in assisting them achieve their dreams.

What’s the accounting profession going to look like in 20 years? There will be a lot more part time employees and telecommuting will be more common.

At Rea

Tim specializes in business valuation and succession planning. He is a recognized leader in the business valuation field -- having been involved in over 1,500 valuation engagements. He is also an instructor on valuation topics for the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs.

Tim has also obtained the top three professional valuation designations (ASA, CBA, ABV).
