Paul joined the Rea team in 1989. A native of Worthington, Ohio, he now resides in New Philadelphia, Ohio. He and his wife Elizabeth have four children; Will, Robert, Richard and Kate.

Inside the Mind Of...

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Create opportunities by always aiming for excellence.

How do you define success? Continually striving for balance in life.

What do your clients get when they work with you that they may not get from other consultants Objectivity and focus on the solution in the client’s best interest.

Just For Fun...

Describe yourself in one word. Conscientious.

What’s your claim to fame? My wife and children – they are all outstanding people.

What one thing about you would most people find surprising? I was an exchange student to West Germany when I was in high school.

What is your favorite movie of all-time? The Sting.

How do you unwind? I like to talk to my kids about their day.

What did you want to be when you grew up? An orthopedic surgeon.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? Scotland -- to see my roots.

Before Rea

Paul earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the Ohio State University. He also obtained a master's degree in taxation from the University of Akron. His past experience includes two years with a national CPA firm.

At Rea

Paul is the director of Rea's pension services and benefit plan audit practice, and heads up the benefit plan administration practice.
