Mark joined the Rea team in 2007. A native of Saugerties, New York, he now lives in Upper Arlington, Ohio, with his wife Suzette and their three children; Olivia, Victoria and Eva.

Inside the Mind Of...

What do your clients get when they work with you that they may not get from other consultants? A CPA with a personality who is understanding and appreciates their business.

Who has been the most influential person in your life? My wife. She tells me what I need to hear, not what I want to hear.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Treat people with respect and they will respect you.

Describe yourself in one word. Fun.

How do you spend April 16? With my wife and three daughters.

What one thing about you would most people find surprising? I am the ninth of 10 children.

What did you want to be when you grew up? A police officer.

What’s your claim to fame? In high school, I was the county-wide cross country, wrestling and track champion.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what would you want to have with you? A book about how to build boats.

What is your favorite movie of all time? It’s a Wonderful Life.

Before Rea

Mark earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Albany. His experience includes 16 years as a shareholder for a local CPA firm. He has made numerous presentations to various organizations and groups on the subjects of not-for-profit accounting, auditing and more.

Mark is a team member at the Columbus, Ohio office.
