David joined the Rea team in 1979. A native of Massillon, Ohio, he now lives in Powell, Ohio with his wife Debbie. They have two grown children, Matt & Liz.

What’s your greatest accomplishment? As a parent, seeing our children graduate from college.

How do you define success? Success is seeing our young team members advance in their careers.

What did you learn from Richard Rea that you still use/find value in today? Make client service an important part of your day.

Just For Fun...

Describe yourself in one word. Competitive...very competitive.

What was the first car you ever owned? I paid $750 for a 1967 Plymouth Fury III.

What is the best musical you've seen? "Footloose" on Broadway.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? Austria or the Swiss Alps.

How do you unwind? By watching a sporting event.

How do you spend April 16th? Beginning to fine-tune my golf game.

What was your favorite class in college? Civil War History.

Before Rea

David graduated from Mount Union College with a Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minor in history. 

At Rea

David is a member of Rea's operations committee and board of directors.

As the vice president of operations, David oversees the operations of the Columbus, Zanesville, Cambridge and Marietta offices. In addition, he works closely with the firm's attestation, tax services, not-for-profit, ERISA audit services and business valuation teams.
