Cindy joined the Rea team in 1998. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, she now resides in Cambridge, Ohio with her husband John. They have two adult children; Brian and John.

Inside the Mind Of...

What is your greatest accomplishment? Changing careers and obtaining my CPA at the age of 46.

Who is/was the most influential person in your life/career?

John Reid – my husband. He showed me I could do anything I set my mind to and supported me in every endeavor along the way.

What did you learn your first year on the job that you still use today? What it means to be part of a team – working with and helping others.

Describe yourself in one word. Tenacious.

What was your favorite class in college? The Arts.

What did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher.

If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead, who would it be? My dad.

What is your favorite movie of all time? Gone with the Wind.

What was the first car you ever owned? An opel Lexus.If you were stranded on a desert island, what would you want to have with you? My husband because he is a very resourceful man!

Before Rea

Cindy earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in mathematics from Muskingum College. Her experience includes:

  • General Resources/Quinn Development (12 years)
  • Capital Bank: internal audit manager (one year)
  • Bank One: officer in charge of internal audit (six years)

At Rea

Cindy specializes in governmental auditing.

Besides Rea

Cindy's professional memberships include:

  • The American Institute of CPAs
  • The Ohio Society of CPAs
  • Ohio Government Finance Officers Association

She is also a member of the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center auxiliary, wing chairman and auxiliary board.
