Chad joined the Rea team in 2007. A resident of Dresden, Ohio, he and his wife Angela have three children; Alexis, Alivia and Ava.

Why do you do what you do? Being a trusted advisor for my clients is rewarding. I enjoy building long-term client relationships, adding value and enhancing my clients’ cash flow.

Who have been the most influential people in your life or career? My parents.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Treat people right and take care of your clients. The rest will take care of itself.

What is the best book you have ever read? The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger.

What one thing about you would most people find surprising? I was born in Bangkok, Thailand.

Describe the best vacation you’ve ever taken. Punta Cana – sunshine, white sand, clear blue water and a lot of rest and relaxation.

What was your favorite class in college? Atmospheric science.

How do you spend April 16? Golfing and relaxing.

What was the first car you ever owned? A 1977 Ford Mustang.

Chad earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the Ohio State University, graduating magna cum laude. His past experience includes:

  • National CPA firm: tax manager (6 years)

Chad specializes in federal, state and local tax for privately held businesses in the service, distribution and manufacturing industries with an emphasis on delivering value-added savings opportunities; high net-worth individuals
