Derek obtained his associate degree in accounting technology from Kent State University, and a bachelor's in accounting from the University of Northwestern Ohio. His past experience includes working as a staff accountant for a local CPA firm.

Derek specializes in government work and GAAP conversions.

Derek is a member of the Tuscarawas Youth Baseball Council.

He is currently pursuing his MBA at Morehead State University.

Why do you do what you do? I enjoy working with people and I'm very analytical and detail-oriented.

What did you learn your first year on the job that you still use today? Communication skills are vital, and being able to relate with people is vital.
