Bruce Bernard Retires from Rea & Associates, Inc.

Dublin, Ohio - Bruce Bernard, JD, CPA/ABV, has retired from Rea & Associates, Inc. effective October 31, 2009.

A 25-year staff member with Rea, Bernard specialized in estate planning and valuation, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations and tax planning. A sought-after speaker, he has given more than 150 presentations to organizations across the country on tax, estate planning, business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, charitable giving and business planning topics. He has written two books, Selecting the Right Form of Business: The Comprehensive Decision-Making Guide for the Business Advisor, and Selecting the Form of Business Entity: Analyzing LLCs and Other Entity Choices. He has also written more than 50 articles for business periodicals.

Bernard retired early to form Bernard Law LLC, www.bbernardlaw.com. He will conduct tax services and assist clients in positioning companies for sale, taking entities to market, finding strategic buyers and maximizing after-tax value.

A New Philadelphia native, Bernard currently resides in Worthington, with his wife, Lisa, and has three daughters.
